The Fire Department Training Network's state-of-the-art, 50-acre, firefighting academy located near Indianapolis, Indiana. The Academy operates multiple training and burn buildings designed to replicate most fireground situations encountered by firefighters during actual responses. All buildings are designed to provide students with the most realistic fireground training environment possible.

Training buildings include a two-story residential, a single-story residential with full basement, a multiple dwelling with 18 apartment units, a two-story taxpayer with an auto body shop below and apartments above, a 4-store strip mall and multiple training props that allow realistic, live-fire, skill development.
The Academy has a fleet of apparatus including 4 engines, 1 tanker, 2 tower ladders, and a 100-foot aerial. In addition, FDTN operates a complete support facility capable of fabricating, constructing, and supporting the realistic training provided in each of the courses offered.

The Fire Department Training Network has conducted courses to firefighters from all 50 states and many countries around the world. FDTN's Rapid Intervention Teams training curriculum has been taught to thousands of firefighters and has been delivered to many of the nation's military firefighters, both on location and at FDTN's Academy.

The closest airport is the Indianapolis International Airport and is approximately 20 miles from the facility. Rental cars are available at this location. There are a number of Hotels located in the Indianapolis area.
This year we will be using the Hampton Inn South, located at 7045 McFarland Boulevard in Indianapolis, IN 46237. There are a number of places to eat in the immediate area of the hotel. For hotel reservation FDTN uses Preferred Convention Services. You can register online or contact PCS for assistance at 1-888-763-7236. You can also download and fax or mail a completed hotel reservation form.

FDTN Course Cancellation Policy
FDTN's Course Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made in writing and sent to FDTN, P.O. Box 1852, Indianapolis, IN 46206 (FAX 317-862-9685). All cancellations for registrations paid using a credit card will be charged a 10% processing fee. Cancellations received in excess of 45 days prior to start of event will be issued a 100% refund; Cancellation received from 31 and 45 days prior to start of event will be refunded 50% of the registration fee; Cancellations received within 30 days of event start date are non-refundable. Name changes are permitted with no charge up to the start of the event.
